One of the foreign joint venture bank; Nepal Bangladesh Bank has celebrated its 27th  anniversary. This A-class commercial bank was established with the licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank on 23rd Jestha 2051 B.S. This bank is allied with Bangladesh’s IFIC Bank which has a 40.90 percent stake in the bank. The bank is currently providing banking facility to customers from 99 branches, 8 extension counters, and 81 ATMs in all seven Provinces.


On the occasion of its anniversary, the Bank has handed over 2,500 Remedicivir injections worth Rs. 66 Lakh to the Government of Nepal from its CSR activities.


The bank has also provided financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh to Dhangadhi Sub-metropolis, Mahakali Zonal and Tikapur Hospital in the Far-Western province. The money will be used to set up oxygen plants for Seti Provincial Hospital, Mahakali Hospital and Tikapur Hospital, and to purchase oxygen cylinders and oxygen concentrators.
